Information, recommendations and services ('Services') which Focus HR provides to you do not constitute legal advice. While Focus HR aims to ensure that any Services which it provides are accurate and useful, Focus HR recommends that you consult a lawyer as to your legal rights and obligations. You also acknowledge and agree that:

  • To access the Service, you will be required to provide your company name, contact details and verify your status as a Chamber member if required.
  • Service is capped at six (6) helpline enquiries (where an enquiry is verbal advice only for up to 10 minutes per occasion);
  • Any Services which Focus HR provides are based on information (which may include materials) which you have provided to Focus HR, the accuracy of which has not been verified by Focus HR and for which Focus HR accepts no responsibility.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, all conditions, terms, representations and warranties (in each case, express or implied) in connection with the provision of any Services to you by Focus HR, which might otherwise be binding upon Focus HR, are excluded.
  • To the extent possible by law, Focus HR excludes all liability for any loss or damage suffered arising out of the provision of the Services. To the extent that Focus HR’s liability cannot be limited, you agree that Focus HR’s liability for any loss or damage in connection with the Services is limited to the supply of the Services again.
  • Any Services provided by Focus HR are intended to be provided solely to the initial recipient of the Services and Focus HR will not be liable to any other person. 
  • Personal information about you, provided by you and other sources, is protected under the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000.  Disclosure of such information may be compelled by law (e.g. under the Social Security Act) or where we are otherwise required to disclose such information (e.g. to our insurer or to employees or contractors of Focus HR).  
  • Should any additional fees apply to Services provided by Focus HR, these will be agreed to with you and our standard Terms of business will apply.
  • By utilising the Services and providing your contact details, you authorise Focus HR to retain these details for future contact including newsletters and articles of interest.  If you do not wish to be contacted, please notify us at the time of your call. Alternatively, you can unsubscribe at any time.
