Family and Domestic Violence Leave Legislation – a FREE seminar

February 9, 2023 @ 7:20 am - 8:30 am AEST

The new Family and Domestic Violence Leave legislation coming into effect from 1 February 2023 affects all employers. This is an important development to understand in relation to both your obligations as an employer, and how you and your managers may need to be ready to handle conversations with your people about challenging personal situations.

This seminar will be presented by Focus HR and Business Resilience Centre and will provide insights into:

  • Understanding the entitlements under the new legislation
  • How to implement this on a practical level
  • Developing a safety plan
  • Guidance for Managers on how to initiate and respond to FDV related conversations

This is a must-attend for business owners/CEOs/GMs and HR practitioners seeking to understand how to implement this legislation at a practical, people-oriented level.

Numbers are limited, so please register to attend ASAP. Light breakfast will be provided. Please indicate any dietary requirements and tea/coffee preferences on your registration.

*Please note, the venue for this event is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. If you would like to attend and this is an issue for you, please get in touch with us so we can make arrangements for you.

Presenters will be Naomi Wilson & Zoe Locke.
