Conversational Capacity: Unlock the Power of Productive Conversations

May 21 @ 9:00 am - 3:30 pm AEST

Conversational Capacity® by Blanchard is a framework developed by Blanchard, designed to help individuals and teams engage in productive, open, and balanced conversations – especially during challenging or high-pressure situations.

The goal of the course is to equip leaders and teams to create space where honest, respectful dialogue can occur.

At its core, Conversational Capacity® is about developing the ability to stay focused and open in conversations while balancing candour (being honest and direct) and curiosity (being open to different perspectives).  This balance helps people stay engaged in conversations without shutting down, becoming defensive or avoiding difficult topics.

Why Conversational Capacity Matters:

  1. Being able to navigate sensitive topics with confidence and respect leads to improved retention and outcomes.
  2. When open dialogue and collaboration is encouraged, you foster a culture where new ideas thrive – even from tough conversations.
  3. Productive conversations drive success, leading to better decision-making, creative problem-solving, and stronger, more resilient teams.
  4. Candid and respectful conversations create a culture of trust and openness, with stronger relationships and greater engagement being established.

Workshop Outcomes:

  • Enhanced self-awareness
  • Engaged employees
  • Improved productivity
  • Organisation innovation.

Participants also gain access to a learning portal for a 12-month period following the workshop, with access to resources to learn and share and further embed the workshop content.
