The team at Focus HR is excited to announce the finalists in the running for the Engaged People Program Bursary for 2021. As naming rights sponsors of the Business Excellence Awards, presented by Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce, Focus HR are absolutely committed to supporting small business in our region.
“Small business is our world and it is worth celebrating. It’s been a tough year for everyone – if we weren’t impacted in our own business, we had friends or family that were, or saw our valued suppliers or clients taking a hit. But through all of that, the amazing thing to watch has been the robustness, resilience and loyalty of the Toowoomba business community.
“This is why we have chosen to create these bursaries. It’s our way of giving back to the community which has supported our business over the last 9 years, and we can’t wait to generously share the knowledge we have gained over that time with other business owners and see them succeed!” says Naomi Wilson.
From a field of fantastic applicants, five finalists have been selected who will be in the running to each win one of the two bursaries. The Focus HR team will work alongside these businesses across the course of the next 12 months to develop their people, leadership and strategy practices, giving business owners the skills and resources they need to thrive in business.
And the finalists are:
- Fierce Fitness Toowoomba
- Lockhart Drafting & Design
- MOA Benchmarking
- Precision Accounting and Bookkeeping Services
- RDH Integration Services
Focus HR congratulate the finalists and thanks all the businesses who took the time to apply. The team looks forward to announcing the winners at Toowoomba’s night of nights, the Focus HR Business Excellence Awards on December 12 at the Empire Theatre.
